About Our Customer Service Staff

Markel American takes great pride in the vast knowledge and experience of our Customer Service Department. Each of the Customer Service Representatives strive to stay updated with the latest trends in motorcycles by reading industry magazines, participating in rallies and other events, and from talking to our customers, as well as being experienced riders. We are confident that our Customer Service team is second to none, and can assist you in the initial set-up of your policy, administer changes to your policy quickly and accurately, as well as solve any problems or issues with your policy that you might encounter.

Customer Service Hours

Our customer service hours extend from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday (March through August only). All times listed are Central Standard Time. To speak with a Markel American representative, call (800) 643-BROS(2767).
